Baite aperte

The second and third weekend in August

“Baite aperte” is a very popular touristic highlight in Valcanale. It takes place on the swcond and third week-end in August (on Saturday and Sunday) and is of the most visited local events of the whole year in our area. It is a joyful feast dedicated to nature and a great opportunity to discover the delicious dishes from the local tradition, along with a lot of music and joviality.
On this occasion the private cottages and huts in the enchanting Bartolo valley are open to visitors, where they can enjoy and taste delicious local dishes. You can reach the Bartolo valley either walking or by bike along the forestry road from Camporosso.
