Both Valbruna and Tarvisio are members of the “Alpe Adria Trail”, a cross-border joint project connecting the 3 regions Carinthia, Slovenia and Friuli.

The three Alpe Adria regions are connected to each other by a long route starting at the foot of the highest Austrian peak, the Großglockner, and leading down to the Adriatic Sea, to the city of Muggia. It comprehends 43 successive stages: each of them is about 20 km long and has a walking time of about 6 hours. It crosses the most enchanting lake and mountain districts of Carinthia, of the Tarvisio Region on 3 borders triangle point and ends on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.

In Valbruna you will find the signage of the Alpe Adria Trails at the bus stop and in Tarvisio by the Touristic Office. They are installed at all trail stages as well.
