The Sleddog centre in Tarvisio, located only a few steps from the  Slovenian border, is run by Monica D’Eliso and Ararad Khatchikian. They are the only Italian mushers who took place to the worldwide main races in this sport – for example the Iditarod and the  Yukon Quest in Alaska (USA). Monica and Ararad will be glad to show you the experience of riding with 50 joyous huskies through the spectacular scenery of the Fusine plain. Through their “contagious” enthusiasm and passion you will be a musher for one day ....

Every week the Touristic Office Tarvisio  („Ufficio turistico di Tarvisio“) organises an activity  within the programme “Vivi l’inverno nelle Alpi Giulie” (“Experience the Julian Alps in winter”).
